This pattern is repeated among themselves filling the entire area of the Square
Praça Duque da Terceira, Cais Sodré, Lisbon - Portugal
Cais do Sodre named because they lived there Sodré brothers, Vincent and AnthonyDuarte who owned property in that place.
In honor of the Duque of Terceira was a statue in the center of the square between 1872and 1877, thus becoming known as Praça Duque da Terceira.
Following the 1755 earthquake, the area was rebuilt with new urban design, where thepavements have been incorporated in the Portuguese.
