Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara / Viewpoint of Saint Peter of Alcântara

Este é um dos miradouros mais românticos de Lisboa, situado no topo de uma colina que permite admirar toda a Baixa até ao rio Tejo.

This is one of the most romantic viewpoints in Lisbon, situated on top of a hill that allows to admire all the Baixa until the river Tagus.

Neste terraço podemos encontrar um jardim muito bem cuidado e onde ele é também todo ornamentado pela Calçada Portuguesa, com desenhos de flores e figuras geométricas a branco e preto a delinear os passeios. Nele ainda existem bustos de figuras Históricas, uma belíssima fonte, um painel de azulejos executado por Fred Kradolfer em 1952, onde está representado o mapa da Cidade de Lisboa, uma esplanada de onde pode ter o privilégio confortavelmente de admirar a vista para a cidade. Do seu lado está o elevador da Glória a subir e a descer a colina com locais, visitantes e turistas.

In this terrace we can find a garden very well maintained and where it is also also all decorated by the Portuguese Pavement, with drawings of flowers and geometric figures in black and white to outline the rides. There are still busts of historical figures, a beautiful fountain, a panel of tiles executed by Fred Kradolfer in 1952, where is represented the map of the City of Lisbon, a terrace where you can have the privilege comfortably admire the view of the city. On your side is the Glória elevator going up and down the hill with locals, visitors and tourists.
