Santa Comba Dão (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈsɐ̃tɐ ˈkõbɐ ˈðɐ̃w]) is a city and a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 112.0 km² and a total municipal population of 12,393 inhabitants. The city proper has a population of 3,300.
The municipality is composed of 9 parishes and is located in the district Viseu.
The present mayor is João António Pais Lourenço, elected by Social Democratic Party and by the People's Party.
António de Oliveira Salazar, who was the Prime Minister of Portugal from 1932 to 1968 and leader of the Estado Novo, was born in Vimieiro, Santa Comba Dão on 28 April 1889.
The municipal holiday is Ascension Day.
