ano.

For those who
live in Porto this is a street that does not need presentations, however for
those who come to visit the city, this is a place that we must see.

If we can sit
on a bench in Santa Catarina Street, we have the feeling that the world is
walking down this street. In order to know the number of people, we show you
that it is not only in the summer there are this everyday's rush, but during
all the seasons of the year.

Throughout
this presentation of the famous street, we came to the main idea of this
article and what we love to do - the Portuguese Cobblestone in Santa Catarina
Street. In this beautiful sidewalk we can see a pattern that repeats itself
being symmetrical. It has a type of pavement with the name Symmetry of
Reflection, so if we imagine the pattern bended in the middle, we will have two
overlapping parts.
This
is the symmetry we can see on the pavement of Santa Catarina Street.
Interesting, is not it?!? Certainly when you read this article, you will look
with more attention and with more interest to the Portuguese cobblestone that
you have under your feet.
