Calçadão de Copacabana no Sambódromo / Copacabana Boardwalk in the Sambódromo

   A escola de samba Unidos da Tijuca abriu o 2º dia (segunda-feira 12 de fevereiro) de desfiles no Sambódromo de Sapucaí, no Rio de Janeiro, homenageando o ator, diretor e escritor Miguel Falabella. 
   Nesta deslumbrante fotografia, as baianas da Unidos da Tijuca exaltam a minissérie “As noivas de Copacabana” protagonizada pelo ator. Esta minissérie foi produzida e exibida pela Rede Globo, em 16 capítulo no anos de 1992.    Baseia-se numa história verídica de um serial killer que assassinava mulheres vestidas de noiva, no Bairro de Copacabana.
   Como é óbvio, esta foto enche-nos a alma, pois para além de existir uma imensidão de “Mar Largo” estampado nos trajes carnavalescos, destaca-se a palavra “saudades”… tão nossa, tão portuguesa que as outras línguas têm dificuldade em encontrar tradução.
   The samba school Unidos da Tijuca opened the 2nd day (Monday, February 12) of parades at the Sambódromo in Sapucaí, in Rio de Janeiro, honoring the actor, director and writer Miguel Falabella.
   In this gorgeous photograph, the baianas of Unidos da Tijuca extol the miniseries "The brides of Copacabana" starring by this actor. This mini-series was produced and exhibited by Rede Globo, in the 16th chapter in the years of 1992. It is based on a true story of a serial killer who murdered women dressed as a bride in the Copacabana neighborhood.
   Obviously, this photo fills our soul, because in addition to the immensity of "Wide Sea" stamped on carnival costumes, the word "saudades" stands out ... so ours, so Portuguese that other languages have difficulty to find translation.
